Für unseren Kunden in Bremen suchen wir ab sofort nach einem Spacecraft Database Engineer / Software (m/w/d) per Projektanstellung (ANÜ).
Projektbeschreibung:
To operate our satellites, a lot of information is needed on ground (e.g. how to command the satellites or how to interpret the data coming from the satellite during integration & flight). The database team develops and maintains the satellite reference database (SRDB) and manages its data.
Being a part of the team allows to you to get a deeper understanding of the architecture, interfaces and operations of a spacecraft.
Your Tasks
- Collaborate with the different satellite engineering teams and external stakeholders to enter data into the database
- Release and schedule planning according to stakeholder agreements
- Manage data workflow and processes towards internal and external customers
- To assist the satellite and operations team using SRDB and its products
- To populate the SRDB with the identified data
- To track the validation of SRDB data
- To participate in improvement of the SRDB tool and its usages
- Optional: contribute to the development of the relational database and its Java applications
Anforderungen:
- You work proactively, accurately, carefully and independently
- You have a degree in Computer Science, Physics, Aerospace Engineering or comparable qualification
- You have good communication and negotiation skills
- You are a fast learner with a good technical understanding
- You are fluent in written and spoken English
- Knowledge in SQL, XML or Java is an advantage
